Mon, 08 Aug 2011 19:58:00 -0700 What Evolution Isn't http://badp.posterous.com/what-evolution-isnt http://badp.posterous.com/what-evolution-isnt

Evolutionists are often given a false sense of security and rightness when they encounter Creationists who do not seem to understand evolutionary theory.  This is both tragic and unnecessary.  So to help both Bible-believing Creationists and secular, heathen Darwinists alike, I present a summary of the completely unfounded and baseless theory of evolution.

First of all, a quick definition: Evolution is defined as the descent of all life on earth from a common ancestor through a series of random changes over time.  That is not a "Creationist" definition, but the definition used by secular, evolutionary biologists around the world.

The first key thing to remember when discussing evolution is that it is completely random, with no design and no purpose.  What does this mean?  It means that, according to the theory, everything from the eye to the brain to the cell to the mucosal membranes are all the product of random variations over time.  A lot of folks get hung up on this point because it is so counter-intuitive.  The notion that a series of random events can result in such complexities is completely bewildering to most people.  I believe this is why so many try to force some sort of design or purpose onto the theory of evolution.  They are trying to make sense of it.  "How can anyone believe this is random?" many people ask.  But believe it they do.

The second key is a notion called "natural selection."  This is what I call the "adopted child of evolution" because it has a dirty little secret.  But before I tell you the secret, let me explain what natural selection is.  It is quite simply the phenomenon that organisms which are better at reproduction will pass their genes onto their offspring, while those organisms which are worse at reproduction will not.  That's pretty simple, right?  That's all natural selection is.  Now for the dirty little secret: There is nothing about it that is specifically tied to evolution.  But evolutionists love to talk about it as if it is synonymous with evolution.  Natural selection can only operate on something that confers an immediate reproductive benefit.  Period.  I have had people say to me that natural selection is also about survival and not just reproduction.  But look closely again at my definition.  An organism which is dead is not going to be very good at reproduction, is it?  Thus, survival is a subset of reproductive "fitness," and only insomuch as the organism can survive long enough to reproduce.

Putting these two keys together, we end up with the basic concept behind the false theory of evolution: random genetic variations eventually lead to changes that confer a reproductive benefit, and those genetic variations get passed onto the next generation.  Expanding on it a little more, some random variations that do not confer a reproductive benefit just so happen to "stick" and eventually lead to other processes, organs, and appendages which may or may not confer a reproductive benefit.  This is the foolishness evolutionists believe.

That's it.  That's all there is to it.  Some call it elegantly simple, but I call it arrogantly foolish.  It is an interesting theory, but it is continually being squeezed out of the realm of "scientific fact" by the utter lack of evidence for it, as well as evidence that vigorously contradicts it.  There are many out there who believe in evolution who do not even understand it.  Let us as Creationists help them to understand it, and then understand why it is a lie and an unscientific hoax.  Then we can lead them to the truth: that Jesus Christ the the Creator of all life on earth.

Mon, 08 Aug 2011 18:54:00 -0700 Top 4 Evidences That Evolution Never Actually Happened http://badp.posterous.com/top-4-evidences-that-evolution-never-actually http://badp.posterous.com/top-4-evidences-that-evolution-never-actually

Evolution (the notion that all life on earth has a common ancestor) has been said to be a theory-driven model rather than a data-driven one.  This is factually and indisputably the case.  I'm going to present what I believe are the top 4 evidences against Darwinian evolution.  There are two terms I use below, microevolution and macroevolution.  Both of these terms were created by and are used by secular, evolutionary scientists.  They are not my terms.  Microevolution refers to the minor variation that occurs within a genus, such as a change in color, beak size, hair length, or gestation period.  Macroevolution refers to one genus (like a feline) changing into another genus (like a vulpes) over time.

Recently I began saying that it is much easier to prove a theory than to disprove it.  Computer science nerds will recognize this as a distant corollary to the "does P = NP" problem.  It is easier to validate a statement than to validate the negation of that statement, which is essentially what it means to disprove it.  Thus, evolution should at least in theory be difficult to disprove regardless, but easy to prove if it is true.

Evidence does not equate to proof, however, the strength and quantity of evidence can drive up or down the probability that a theory is true.  I hope you'll see from reading the below 4 pieces of evidence that the probability of evolution being true is closer to zero than you might think.

4. Microevolution has never been observed leading to macroevolution.  In other words, the rise of a new genus has never been observed as a result of cumulative changes in an existing genus.  The typical excuse given by evolutionists is that it takes so long for a new genus to evolve that we could never observe it.  This, of course, contradicts the evidence in favor of the theory.  Theory-driven, not data-driven.

3. The age of the earth does not allow enough time for the evolutionary timeline claimed by secular authorities.  Polystrate trees, polonium halos, dendrochronology, radiometric dating, and the composition of the earth's crust all suggest a relatively young (< 10,000 years) earth.  Even if evolution somehow occurred rapidly during that time, it would have had to have abruptly slowed or stopped in order to become completely unobservable today.  Even supposing that the earth were as old as evolutionists claim, it would still not provide enough time

2. Many plants and animals, including flowering plants, appear abruptly in the fossil record with nothing that could even be considered a transitional form, not even by the most creative evolutionist.  The "Cambrian Explosion" is another example.  There is absolutely zero evidence to suggest flowering plants evolved.  One response I have heard is that we are "lucky" to have any fossils at all.  But this response flies in the face of the evidence because the fossils which are considered among some of the oldest (by the evolutionary timeline), such as those of fish, are extremely plentiful and high quality.  It therefore makes no sense that the "oldest' fossils survived while the much "younger" ones were destroyed.  Theory-driven, not data-driven.

1. Darwin himself stated that the utter lack of transitional forms in the fossil record is the single greatest blow to his theory.  Over 100 years later, with all the advances in paleontology, you would think we would be up to our ears in transitional forms.  But all we have are the fossils of existing species with a few deformities.  In fact, fish fossils supposedly from hundreds of millions of years ago are exactly identical to the fish that exist today.  Not almost identical; exactly identical.  You would think that after hundreds of millions of years, there would be some change right?  Wrong.  Evolutionists claim that those fish did in fact evolve, but the original species still exist.  That assumption certainly fits the theory, but not the evidence.  The transitional forms of these imaginary "evolved" fish are still missing.  Theory-driven, not data-driven.

Do not be fooled by assumptions that are masquerading as evidence and proof.  A con artist's success depends upon his victim making many interrelated assumptions.  Very few people will be fooled by a single assumption presented as fact.  But most people will be fooled when they believe "facts" which are based on other "facts" which are actually based on someone else's assumption.  Do not assume anything and don't rely on blind faith in "science" of any kind without fully understanding exactly what is going on behind the curtain.  There is a reason that after almost 15 years of debating evolutionists, I am still a staunch Creationist.  And my reason is most definitely not faith alone.

Thu, 17 Sep 2009 00:24:21 -0700 pig sickness vaccine http://badp.posterous.com/pig-sickness-vaccine http://badp.posterous.com/pig-sickness-vaccine

well it's just a matter of time before we all get mugged by our "healthcare professionals" to get vaccinated against the awful, terrible, super-scary swine flu/h1n1/pig sickness virus.

Not that I was planning on getting poisoned-- I mean vaccined with this novel vaccine.. but I enjoy reading about it and reminding myself why I'd rather get the swine flu than the swine flu vaccine.

I happened upon this article tonight which I found very interesting because one of the adjuvants in the new vaccine (squalene) was used to vaccinate Gulf War soldiers who subsequently developed Gulf War Syndrome:

http://articles.mercola.com/sites/vitalvotes/archive/2009/07/17/squalene-the-swine-flu-vaccines-dirty-little-secret-exposed.aspx

Back when I worked at the VA I had the opportunity to listen to a young veteran talk about his numerous (and I mean numerous) health problems.  Shortly after going into the Army, the story goes, he began to develop health problems.  The Army doctors gave him steroids and all sorts of other vaccinations.  I can't remember if he went to Desert Storm, but it doesn't matter.  At the time soldiers were vaccinated prior to deployment so he could have gotten it.  He had diabetes, arthritis, and was quite overweight.  I can't help but wonder if some of his ills were caused by receiving a vaccine -- if not one with squalene, then another adjuvant.

I do not consider myself a student of history.  I've never liked history and it was one of my least favorite subjects in school.  But what history I do learn, I made it a point to learn from it.  And the more I learn from history, the more I realize most people don't.  We've been down this road before with the panic-driven vaccinations, the rash "throwing together" of a vaccine designed to solve an imaginary problem that -- even if it were half as bad as it could be -- hardly merits the kind of overreaction and attention it has been getting.  I wonder if Obama is going to get vaccinated?  (I would make a joking comment here, but I don't want any of his goons knocking on my door.  Use your imagination.)  Ford got vaccinated with the original swine floo vaccine and didn't seem to suffer any ill effects.  But that's the funny thing about vaccine-caused autoimmune diseases like Guillan-Barre.. it can be so slow and mild that you may never notice, or it can be deadly in a matter of hours.  It's essentially Russian roulette with a needle and some cold liquid.

I'm not playing.

I hope the club gets shut down along with the rest of the "gay" clubs.  Now we just need to recriminalize all homosexual behavior.

Sat, 12 Sep 2009 18:21:44 -0700 Obama is desperate now... he's invoking GOD!!! http://badp.posterous.com/obama-is-desperate-now-hes-invoking-god http://badp.posterous.com/obama-is-desperate-now-hes-invoking-god

In a rare display of phony and pretentious religiosity, Obama addressed a raucous crowd of drones and mindless followers in Minneapolis regarding socialized, inefficient, expensive, and discriminatory medicine.

He said, "Yes, we can!"...

followed by, "There but for the grace of God go I."

Oh............ no........

How can we evil conservatives possibly home to defeat Obama now??!  He used the 'G' word!  Just when we thought he was a socialist atheist pig --  just when we let our guard down -- BAM! Obama calls us out, boldly displaying the ultimate trump card.

Forget about liberal admonisions against a marriage between church and state.  When Obama speaks, he transcends such minor issues as his booming, hope-filled voice echoes throughout the union-patrolled halls.

The High Priest Obama further admonished, "I'm the one who's going to be held responsible. So I have every incentive to get this right."

Oh, yes, master Obama!  Because, as we all know, the President can always be held responsible for laws that Congress passes.

As if we needed any more evidence of Obama's phoniness and hypocrisy.

Wed, 29 Apr 2009 23:16:19 -0700 Mexico and the reticular cortex http://badp.posterous.com/mexico-and-the-reticular-cortex http://badp.posterous.com/mexico-and-the-reticular-cortex

It doesn't take a genius to figure out that Pig Sickness aka swine flu seems to only affect people who hopped a jet to Mexico or Mexifornia recently.  It's also pretty obvious that most people who come down with it recover on their own quickly.

What if the media never reported any Pig Sickness?

Stop and think about it.  Would the person with body aches and a fever think anything of it?  Or would they just pass it off as the common flu, rest up, eat chicken soup, and get better?

The only reason so many cases are being reported is that people are now automatically assuming every cough and sneeze is an indication of swine flu!  And for some people it is.  But how do we know, really, that this isn't something that has been going on for a lot longer?  Is it really "pandemic" just because our timeline started this month?

In some parts of the world, it is spring.  Pollen season.  You know, "hay fever" and such.  And sometimes you eat a bad hotdog.  And sometimes you play a little too hard and get sore shoulders.  Normally you would not assume any exotic illness for experiencing these symptoms.  But now you probably would.  That part of your brain, the reticular cortex has been activated.  It is now seeking out anything to do with Pig Sickness.  I bet you can't look at a picture of a pig without thinking about it.  You can't wipe snot from your nose without wondering if you're passing something.

Break free.  Turn off the TV, radio, and news sites.  Participate in no discussion of this Pig Illness.  And it will just go away.

I think Osbama's handlers are slipping.  First, he talks to his teleprompter, telling it to speed up.  Then he directs his plane to fly low over New York city, disrupting business and causing panic among citizens who thought the plane was going to plow into a tall building.  What a moron.

Mon, 27 Apr 2009 21:40:59 -0700 Bacon Conspiracy http://badp.posterous.com/bacon-conspiracy http://badp.posterous.com/bacon-conspiracy

Alright!  Ever since all the Obama-mania has quieted down the media has been wandering the streets like a lost puppy, looking for even a small morsel of hysteria to latch onto, ingest, and poop out onto our collective lawns.  Well, friends, they have found it.  It's PIG SICKNESS!!  And the punchline?  It doesn't seem to bother pigs!  Instead (this is right out of Steven King's The Stand or that awful movie "Outbreak" which left people scared of monkeys)  It's a horrible mutant virus that transferred from pigs to humans and is threatening to wipe out the globe, oh crap!!

Now I don't mean to make light of those who have died from this illness.  Just like any other communicable disease, it should be taken seriously.  But, as usual, the media is opting for mania instead of reporting the facts.  So I wish to do you all a favor and give you a few facts, some of which are contrary to so-called "health organizations" such as, well, the World Health Organization :)

Fact 1: A new strain that transfers from animals to humans is not necessarily more life-threatening, nor is it more likely to be (epi/pan)demic

Fact 2: A 3-month-old baby in Texas contracted the swine flu... and recovered... without even being hospitalized.  Enough said.

Fact 3: Mexico is a nasty country.  You are advised to get shots for tetanus, hepatitis, and oh yeah, don't drink the freaking water.  What's the significance?  Increased likelihood of opportunistic illness -- an illness that normally would not occur, but is enabled by the presence of an existing illness.

Fact 4: Mexico has poor health care.  Those with compromised immune systems (diabetics, pregnant, elderly, etc.) do not have adequate resources to manage serious symptoms.  And they have only limited access to anti-viral drugs.

At a time when people are complaining about how "awful" the healthcare system in the U.S. is, it's quite the counterpoint to see the night-and-day difference between how the infected in the U.S. fare compared to those in Mexico, isn't it?  Maybe that's because the U.S. has the best healthcare system in the entire WORLD.  Despite its obsession with allopathy, we all should stop and thank the Lord that we have the best healthcare in the world available to us and everyone here.. even those who can't afford it.

Mon, 02 Mar 2009 20:57:55 -0800 The Increasing Irrelevancy of the White House http://badp.posterous.com/the-increasing-irrelevancy-of http://badp.posterous.com/the-increasing-irrelevancy-of

Not really surprisingly, the half-White House has turned into more of a liberal media outlet than the seat of government.  You know Obama is feeling inadequate when he has to respond to -- of all people -- Rush freaking Limbaugh.  In all 8 years Bush was in office, I can't remember him once responding to any famous left-wing doofus' rants.  He just ignored them.  But Obama must have left his alligator skin in thug Chicago.  He's turned into a little boy who has to have a come back everytime someone says something about him.  News flash, Hussein Obama: Nobody is listening to you except your minions.  You know, the great unwashed who voted your economically ignorant sorry butt into office.  And yes, ignorant he is.  That's not an exaggeration.  I initially thought he was actually smart and only said stupid things to appease the average American idiots.  But it's become clearer and clearer that he has no clue about how economies work or what makes them tick.  It's not even that he understands and just has a bad philosophy.  He is genuinely, completely ignorant of basic economics.  And most people are.  But this dude is supposedly so highly educated, he should at least understand what recessions are and why we have them.  But he doesn't.  He's a fool.  And that is exactly why he and his clowns are becoming irrelevant.  It's easy to listen to Obama is you agree with him, but as he continues to lie, and lie again, and lie some more, and keep on telling the same lies over and over again, living in the past while the rest of the world moves on, people begin to tune him out.  The poor and stupid who voted for Hussein Obama focus their attention where the excitement is.  There is no more excitement surrounding the mulatto.  He is dull, inarticulate, and boring.  Oh, and he also looks mad all the time.  I guess he's mad that he actually has to work now.  Obama will go down in history as one of the lamest lame-duck "Presidents" this country has ever seen.  In two years the economy will be thriving, and nobody will want to listen to left-wing crap about how unfair capitalism is.  The phenomenon that got Obama elected cuts both ways: when things are going badly, losers will take a chance on a loser.  But when things are going great, losers won't even be paying attention.  That is one fundamental difference between the haves and the have-nots.

And now, a short message for you who support the "stimulus" bill...

You might think this bill contains something new and different.  You know, like "change."  But in reality this bill does the same thing similar bills have done over the past 80 years: It pushes the problem to the next generation.  Yes, the WW II generation pushed their problems to the baby-boomers, the baby-boomers pushed it onto their children, and now their children are pushing it onto their children.  It is essentially a Ponzi scheme, but nobody has realized it yet.  But it will catch up with us, and when it does, say bye-bye to American jobs.  Businesses don't go where people are demanding jobs, they go where the money and tax advantages are.  And if the tax-and-spend pattern of behavior continues, that place will not be the U.S.A.

I don't need to wish Obama fails.  I know he will fail because he is doing the same things that made other Presidents fail.

Tue, 17 Feb 2009 19:17:17 -0800 Greed and Opportunity http://badp.posterous.com/greed-and-opportunity http://badp.posterous.com/greed-and-opportunity While most of America is whining about how awful the recession is, what bad shape the economy is in, and how we have to pinch pennies or else we'll die, I'm taking risks with my money by investing in the very things that are supposedly going to bring about the end of the world:

Real estate.  Mortgage backed securities.  Entertainment.  Restaurants.

Yes, I am profiting from the stupidity of others -- including the government, the banks who gave into their threats, and the average consumer who is carrying debt in the tens-of-thousands of dollars.  I won't offer any financial advice.  If you're sharp enough to figure it out, you've already figured out how to make a killing off an economic slump.  I am just going to quietly watch the world go crazy as I make more money.

I have almost no unsecured debt and my mortgage pays for itself (well, actually my tenants pay for it), so an economic downturn isn't going to send me into universal default.  We are in a purging, a cleansing of the riff-raff who took out debt they couldn't afford.  They were renting their lifestyles, making monthly payments just to keep the fun going.  But when the recession came, they stopped making payments.  They went into default.  Their cars got repossessed.  Their houses went into foreclosure.  Creditors started calling.  The sky began falling... or so they thought.

Now the terrorist-befriending, God-hating Barack Hussein Obama is promising to return to them their rented lifestyles.  He will play the country song backwards.  They'll get their car back, their house back, their TV back, their cell phone back, and their stereo system back.  That is what is important in this country.  Not love.  Not family.  Certainly not the Lord.  Jobs.  Money.  Entertainment.  Education.  All the things that people lived without for thousands of years.  Not that we want to return to those days, but we certainly aren't justified in breaking our proverbial necks to avoid that when it is not even a remote possibility.

Those who fear we are re-entering the dark ages are already there.  They are looking to their filthy false messiah to pull them out.

The rest of us, the few, don't live by those rules.  We don't live under a socialist thumb, nor do we suck on a politician's teet in hopes of a better life.  We create a better life.  And we create a better life for others, whether they appreciate it or not.  And looking at the current foreign-born President, I'm thinking not.
